Bio
Bridget Grayson has been connecting with others through storytelling as a trained actor and dancer based in New York. She has performed in a multitude of productions for Television, Film and Theater, some of which include playing,
Angel in An American Christmas television special on CBS, Jenny in a University production of the play The Shape of things, and Philomena from the play The Phillips Door performed at the Cradle of Aviation Museum.
Bridget began her journey in the performing arts community at the young age of 6 years old, and has spent many years exploring how stories are told through performance. Once she decided to follow her passion for acting as an adult, she commenced her studies in acting for television, film, and theater at St. John’s University for 4 years. She has also studied different forms of dance and movement for over 10 years, ranging from hip hop to ballet and contemporary dance, as well Baton Twirling and weightlifting. Wishing to help others express themselves through the arts, she began teaching dance to children and adults of all ages. She has studied Acting for television and film, at the Stella Adler Studio for Acting drama school in New York, where she plans to continue her education and
growth in acting.
Recently, Bridget performed as Mya, the lead role in the limited series called The Last Moment and as Ria in the short film The Hand that reaches out, both films that deal with the struggle of mental health, and the effects it has on the people around us. Adding to her performances, was her role in the short romantic comedy Love me later, in which she played the lead role of Meg. She also recently played the lead in two short films, which are both currently in post-production, and is currently filming a post-apocalyptic web series.
Looking ahead to the future Bridget is excited to expand her acting network and continue sharing stories that will help change lives. In addition to acting and dancing she hopes to read more exciting fantasy novels, travel to new places and continue crushing her fitness goals every day in the gym. As an avid writer, she has begun writing her own screenplays, and hopes to write and direct her own films in the years to come.
